I’m so excited to finally share this with you—MMC Home Away, my little passion project that’s grown into something truly meaningful. This is my very first blog post, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and give you a glimpse into what this space is all about.

My name is Marites Catarungan, and I’ve been a licensed real estate broker for several years now. Over time, I’ve helped many individuals and families find their perfect condo units here in Metro Manila—whether they were buying their first home or investing in properties for the future. Through that journey, I fell in love with the lifestyle that condo living in the city can offer. It’s convenient, vibrant, and if done right, it can feel just like a relaxing escape.

That’s where the idea for MMC Home Away began. I wanted to create more than just another listing platform. I wanted to offer comfortable, fully furnished condo units that people could call home—even if just for a few days. Whether you’re staying for a quick weekend getaway, a work trip, or you’re simply in between homes, I believe everyone deserves a place that feels warm, secure, and thoughtfully prepared.

I currently offer a range of beautifully maintained condo units located in the heart of Pasay’s vibrant MOA complex. Each one is designed to offer convenience, comfort, and that little extra touch that makes a stay memorable. Think soft linens, fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and just enough space to truly relax after a long day in the city.

This blog will be where I share stories from the road—thoughts on hosting, tips for making the most of your stay, and a few personal reflections on life, business, and the beautiful chaos that is Metro Manila. I’ll also be spotlighting the condo units from time to time so you can get a better feel for each space and maybe even find one that speaks to you for your next staycation.

Creating MMC Home Away has been both a professional step and a personal journey for me. I’ve poured my heart into making these spaces welcoming and cozy, and I hope that when you stay in one of them, you’ll feel that warmth right away.
